Puzzles and Pictures

A couple days ago Hannah and I put this puzzle together while Riley was sleeping.  

I told Hannah she should try and draw some of the animals from her puzzle, using the puzzle to help her.  

Her markers are obviously drying out.  However, here's the clownfish she drew.  

Remember that obstacle course...

David's dad was intrigued from the moment we told him about it. 

He wanted to see what he was capable of doing.  He did many things while in the Marines, years ago.  He's kept in shape and still works out regularly.

It really irks me how well David can still do these things.  I mean, he never exercises now!!!

This was pretty funny to watch.  It took 3 or 4 times to get across the logs.  

At the end of the day, he tackled all of the obstacles.  And conquered most!  ; )  But had fun doing it all regardless.  

Before bed fun

One of my favorite things to do with Hannah:

Most of the time we do it after Riley goes to bed at night, before Hannah goes to bed.  We look at one of her hidden pictures books (she loves the hidden picture books) together and take turns finding everything.
