I love being a parent

For many reasons.  This is just one of them: Hannah cracks me up!  Even when she's not trying.  Yesterday, I worked until 4, then swung by the grocery store to pick up a few things.  Then I went and picked up Hannah from Aunt Casey's.  We didn't get home until 530.  I could tell on the drive home that a nap was needed, but we probably wouldn't have time for one.  We get home and run yells "I'm going potty mommie."  Meanwhile, i put away groceries and water the garden.  When I come back inside to shower before dinner, I notice how quite it is.  I walk to the bathroom, where the light is still off (my first clue) and find this.

I couldn't help but laugh.  Now you may notice she has boys under pants on.  This is because she had an accident at Aunt Caseys and is wearing Ethan's underpants.  I woke David up, because retelling this image would not do it justice.

A warm day in February, pt 2.

Here's the rest of yesterday's (part two of No Time For Nap) events.  I baked these: PB Banana and Oatmeal Muffins and this: Curried Fruit.  Both turned out yummy.  I hung clothes out on the line.  It got up to 77 degrees yesterday!  It was awesome!  I opened all the windows and the back door.  Hannah played outside the entire day.  David even managed to get up at around 5 and grilled pork chops.  I also got some stuff done around the house.

I picked this up in DC.  I thought it would be a pretty way to free up some cabinet space and I was right.  It holds 18 wine glasses and when the light catches them a certain way, it resembles a sun catcher.

Hannah also practiced her soccer skills.

She same something for me.  I can't remember what it was.

More concocting.

Talking to Aunt Casey.
