Vacation Bible School: The Big Apple Adventure

The set up in the sanctuary for the last week.  Every day the kids congregated in here, at the end of their day, to watch a video about Silly Billy (our pastor) who was lost in New York and trying to find his family.  The two people on stage walk up and down the aisles, soaking all the kids, and the parents last night.  It was a really big turn out.  The 5th and 6th grade classes alone were over 50 kids!  They baptized 26 kids last night.

Hannah's magnet, with her statue of liberty picture.

Her certificate of completion.

This is part of the carnival they had set up for all the kids.  This little kid race was so funny.  Hannah and Ethan did it three times.  The first time they didn't know they were supposed know they were supposed to turn around so when they got to the end, Hannah got out and jumped up and down excitedly while Ethan turned around and went back to the start.  The second and third race, Ethan ran into the cones, as you'll see in the video.  It's a short video, less than 1 minute.

Hilarious.

While watching this race, David said "that's why we (men) have higher insurance premiums."
